After owning and operating his own business, Grant Farrell’s passion for small business had only grown. Over time, Grant had interacted with dozens of individuals and small business owners who were desperate for greater back-office support. Modern business is run on real-time, accurate data, and strong analysis and business consulting. Out of a desire to better serve his clients and help small business owners in Dallas and the surrounding regions, Grant decided to launch a new type of financial services firm.
To do that, Grant first partnered with Trent Simmons, and together they launch the Hardeman Company, a family office with the mission of acquiring and managing small businesses. Hardeman has a long-term investment horizon, a concern for their companies’ legacies and the wellbeing of all stakeholders, and a commitment to always doing the right thing. Hardeman’s first acquisition was a small boutique accounting firm, which they rebranded F&H.
Over the next year, Hardeman’s internal accounting department was merged with F&H, and four additional accounting firms were acquired, expanding F&H’s footprint into Oklahoma. Additionally, F&H began serving as the outsourced back-office for all of Hardeman’s portfolio companies. Hardeman demands best-in-class service for itself and its subsidiaries. F&H is proud to bring that service to market with the full endorsement of the Hardeman family office.

Grant Farrell – President
A financial professional with a passion for serving individuals, businesses and their trusted advisors. Nearly two decades of experience as a consultant assisting clients with transaction, investing and valuation expertise built on a foundation as a certified public accountant (CPA) and accredited senior appraiser as a business valuation professional. Grant started his career in the big four accounting world serving in the audit & assurance practice and transaction services groups. Clients served include both public, private, national and international companies. Prior to leading F&H, Grant spent over a decade with a boutique business valuation and litigation support firm with a niche in professional sports and the oil and gas industry. This background and experience provided an opportunity to create a business valuation and transaction support firm focused on serving family offices, business owners and attorneys.
Grant has been involved with hundreds of valuation and litigation support engagements in a diverse range of industries on both a national and international level since his entry into the valuation profession in 2007. He enjoys assisting business owners and their advisors navigate value issues related to M&A negotiations, due diligence, buy-sell agreements, gift and estate planning and litigation support for business and marital dissolutions. He has amassed significant experience in the energy, professional sports, retail and professional services industries. Notable projects have included many NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, MiLB and MLS teams as well as many publicly traded exploration & production entities and quick service restaurant brands. In addition, he has experience in valuing a wide variety of intangible assets valuations, lost profits analyses, economic damage studies, forensic accounting procedures and buy-side due diligence. These engagements have been conducted for the purposes of mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, financial reporting, estate and gift taxes, allocation of purchase price, litigation support, shareholder dissent, buy-sell agreements, dissolutions, financing, and business planning.
Jill Hall – Tax Director
Jill has been in the accounting and tax industry for over 25 years. She started her career in tax in the Dallas office of Price Waterhouse Coopers. During her 5 years at PWC, her clients included large energy companies, family trusts, real estate partnerships and high net worth individuals. She prepared and reviewed a large variety of tax returns including corporate, individual, trust and non-profit. In addition, she assisted with the tax provision component of the audit for publicly traded companies. After leaving PWC, she joined the International Tax department of Yum Brands Restaurants International for 10 years, where she prepared corporate tax returns, prepared, and reviewed monthly and annual tax provisions and assisted with annual tax audits. She also was with Trinity Christian Academy, working as an accountant in the business office performing general transactional accounting duties and reviewing the tax return.
Jill is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the TXCPA-Dallas CPA Society. Jill’s passion is working with people. Her non-profit support includes previous service on the board of New Friends New Life and Parent Teacher Fellowship at Trinity Christian Academy. She volunteered with Young Men’s Service League and National Charity League where she supported numerous philanthropies. She has a hands-on approach to all issues and enjoys serving clients with a customer friendly attitude.
Tiffany Frye – Business Consulting Director
Tiffany is a finance and accounting professional with over 15 years experience. She started her career in 2002 working with Global Gaming Solutions (GGS) of the Chickasaw Nation. Exemplifying strategic vision and strong leadership skills, Tiffany rose through the company serving as Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, Controller, and eventually Director of Finance. During her 18 years at GGS, she managed the company’s finances (over $400M in assets and $68M in EBITDA), directed successful annual financial statement audits, conducted financial planning, including annual budgeting and forecasting, assisted in the development of a $38M gaming facility, including project financing and establishing finance structure and processes, and helped restructure, update, and consolidate financial systems and reporting throughout the company.
Tiffany is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is a Fellow Member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), as well as the American Society of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is also very active in her community where she serves as a member of the Southwest Church of Christ in Ada, and volunteers with both Ada Homeless Services and Abba’s Tables.
Terri Hornberger – CPA
Terri founded, Terri Moss Hornberger CPA in 2001. She has been in the accounting field for over 40 years and worked with three respected CPA firms in the area. Her experience encompasses a wide range of industries and includes preparation of individual, corporate, trust, estate and partnership federal tax returns, sales and franchise returns, consultation with clients regarding financial and tax matters; bookkeeping and preparation of interim and annual financial statements, and bill paying assistance. Ms. Hornberger’s client base consists of attorneys, property management, real estate agents, massage therapists, computer and related consultants, retailers, oil and gas trusts, as well as individuals.
Terri is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is an active member of The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), and the TXCPA-Dallas CPA Society. Terri, a former Chair of TXCPA-Dall, was honored to receive CPA of the Year from TXCPA in 2018. She has served on the Board of Directors for both TXCPA and TXCPA-Dallas and served on the TXCPA Executive Board for the 2016-2017 year. She is currently active with both organizations, serving on various committees, and is committee chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee and PAC Committee for TXCPA-Dallas.
Terri is also very active in the community, she is a member of Zonta, having served as its President in 2009 – 2010. She is actively involved with the Dallas Police Department, volunteering in several areas with them. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Junior Police Academy, which has workshops for at-risk students, teaching them about the Dallas Police Department and about making good choices in life.
Terri lives in Dallas with her cat, Heidi.
Brad Pollock – CPA
Brad is a forensic accountant with over 15 years of experience in public practice. His experience serving clients in diverse industries allows him to bring a unique perspective to each engagement. Brad’s strong communication and leadership skills are valued by his clients along with his integrity and honesty.
Brad began his career in the audit practice of an international accounting firm and later with a regional accounting firm. During this time, he led audit, review, and agreed upon procedures engagement of various clients including both private companies and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants operating in the manufacturing, retail, oil and gas, food and beverage, and technology industries. Brad gained extensive experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
Prior to joining F&H, Brad was part of a boutique accounting and consulting firm where he focused on business valuation and litigation support. His business valuation and litigation support experience includes engagements involving business valuation issues, proper application of generally accepted accounting principles, financial fraud, computation of damages, solvency analysis, fraudulent transfers, and marital dissolution.
